About us

Sigma Commercial Consulting (Sigma2c) was formed in 2008 by James Black and Ashley Horobin.

Recognising the limitations and potential shortcomings of the traditional "body shop" approach to consutling, we wanted to provide a broader package of solutions to the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry. We wanted clients to be able to choose a tailored package that best suits their needs.

We provide a European-wide consulting service from our centres in Aberdeen and London.

We have also expanded our range of services to cover legal consulting, economics and hydrocarbon accounting support.

We have also spent 18 months preparing a series of training courses based on the main negotiations required during an asset's life.
