Training

As part of Sigma's commitment to expand its range of integrated services, we are pleased to offer a range of commercial training courses for the upstream and midstream oil & gas industry.

The courses have been prepared using input from our 20 consultants and are each presented by 2 experienced professionals and are unique in the area of oil and gas industry training.  They aim to give participants a practical knowledge of the risks and value drivers at the each stage of an asset’s life. We aim to show how the key commercial agreements are influenced by these risks and drivers, how to manage them, and how they are negotiated and used in practise. 

After 18 months of development, Sigma launched its training courses in March 2011 with very positive feedback from all participants, every one of which rated the courses as “highly recommended”.  The participants came from a range of disciplines, operators and non-operators and from super majors, mid-size and small oil and gas companies. 

The courses will be run again in March and September 2012 in Aberdeen. For larger group bookings training can be arranged in-house and bespoke courses can also be arranged to suit your company’s individual requirements.
